What the badge means
Plenty of flower websites look local. This badge exists so you can tell the difference. A shop only carries it after a person on our team has checked the items below and recorded what they found.
What we check on every verified shop
- Legal business identity
- The shop trades under a real business name we can match to public records.
- Owner or authorised representative identity
- A named person accountable for the account, not an anonymous signup.
- Physical shop or working studio
- Flowers are designed at a genuine premises — not an address forwarded to somebody else.
- Working business telephone
- We called the number a customer would call and reached the shop.
- Business email address
- The shop can receive order mail at the address it publishes.
- Business address
- The address shown is where the business actually operates.
- Real delivery capacity and service ZIP codes
- The delivery area reflects where the shop can genuinely deliver, not a radius drawn to catch searches.
- Agreement to substitution, refund, delivery and transfer rules
- The shop accepted the platform rules covering substitutions, refunds, delivery and order transfers.
What we check when it applies
These depend on the shop's jurisdiction and how it takes payment. We record them when they apply, and the badge does not claim them when they do not.
- Business registration or tax details, where applicable
- Registration or tax identifiers were supplied where the shop's jurisdiction requires them.
- Payout account ownership
- Money for orders goes to an account belonging to the shop itself.
- Rights to the product photography shown
- Product photographs are the shop's own or properly licensed.
What the badge does not mean
- It is not a rating of floral quality, design skill, or freshness.
- It is not a licence, an insurance policy, or any form of government approval.
- It is not a guarantee that a given order will arrive on time. Delivery is the shop's own commitment.
- It cannot be bought, and sponsorship has no bearing on whether a shop receives it.
How long it lasts
A verification stands for 365 days, after which the shop must be checked again. The badge disappears on its own the moment a verification lapses — nobody has to remember to remove it.
We also pull the badge straight away if we find a deceptive address or delivery area, a duplicate listing for the same business, product photography a shop has no right to use, or a pattern of orders the shop never intended to fulfil. A shop can respond and be reinstated once the problem is fixed.
