Copyright Policy
Last updated July 9, 2026
This Copyright Policy explains who owns the content on My Florist Network and how we handle copyright concerns. We respect the intellectual property of our independent florists, our sponsors, our customers, and others, and we ask everyone who uses our platform to do the same.
Website content ownership
The design, text, graphics, layout, and software that make up the My Florist Network platform are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by these policies or by law, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform content without our permission.
Sponsor logo ownership
Sponsor names, logos, and brand imagery belong to the sponsors that provide them. Sponsors grant us a limited license to display this material to present their sponsorship, but they retain ownership of their own trademarks and copyrighted works. You may not reuse a sponsor's logo or brand assets without that sponsor's permission.
Florist photo ownership
Photographs, floral designs, and other content uploaded by independent florists belong to those florists or their licensors. Florists grant us the rights needed to display their content on the marketplace, but ownership stays with them. You may not copy or reuse a florist's photos or designs without permission from the florist who owns them.
User-uploaded content license
If you upload content to our platform, such as a review, comment, image, or other material, you keep ownership of what you submit. By uploading, you grant My Florist Network a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the platform. You represent that you own or have the right to share what you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
Prohibited copying
You may not scrape, harvest, republish, sell, or otherwise use content from our platform, including florist photos, sponsor materials, listings, and our own website content, in ways that infringe copyright or violate our terms. Unauthorized copying, framing, mirroring, or redistribution of platform content is prohibited.
DMCA-style takedown request process
We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe content on our platform infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send us a written takedown request. To help us act quickly, your notice should include:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- Identification of the specific material you believe is infringing, with enough detail (such as the page URL) for us to locate it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Please submit your takedown request through our legal and policy contact page and select the copyright topic. When we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material in question and, where appropriate, notify the person who provided it. We may also remove content from users or sponsors who repeatedly infringe.
